My mother is incredibly talented at quilting. Unfortunately, this talent has not been bestowed on me. The only time my mother has been able to interest me in quilting is back in the old days when we didn't evacuate for hurricanes! My mom and I joke that it skips a generation so maybe Charlotte will have interest and learn this beautiful skill from her Nana. My mother's goal was to make a quilt for each grandchild and this past weekend she gave Charlotte hers. It is absolutely beautiful and I hope Charlotte will treasure it for many years.
